As planned!
Next I’ll do the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond, which I’ll be getting Lisa’s help with because doing actual people this way is hard. Then, I think the Tenth Doctor and Rose. And then the Fourth Doctor.
It's Not Supposed To Make That Noise. You Always Leave The Brake On.

The Doctor Who magnets sold super well at the Expo, helped along by the black Dalek, who pimped out the table all weekend. Several people wanted to buy him. A surprising number of people pronounce it “Darlek,” which I suppose is the pronunciation one might arrive at for a word one’s never seen written and only heard spoken by British people.

So it’s time for new magnets. First up, the Judoon! God I love those goofy rhino guys.
Aww. Next up, a Weeping Angel!
I drew this for Michael’s birthday quite a while ago. I mean, Michael’s birthday was yesterday, I drew this about a month ago.
The reason I drew it so much in advance is that I had a specific purpose in mind for it: an Uncommon iPhone case. It looks like this!
Well, this is the mockup of what it looks like. In real life it looks like this.
Now that the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo is in full swing, I assume that I can now post the submission I made to the artbook. Which is still available for purchase! Swing on by.
The assignment was “Sci-Fi Adventures.” So I figured: what if aliens had conventions where they dressed up as humans and thought toasters and Toyotas were cool?
Michael and I have been invited to have a table at Comic-Kazi for Free Comic Book Day, Saturday May 1, to sell Diaperman comics with a bunch of other creators. Come on by! Get some comics.
Of course at the moment we’re all preoccupied with the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, which looks to be the hugest ball of cool ever. Come on by there, too! Come both places. You’re not busy.
